Dominion Icon Skirts Tribunal’s Harshest Fate

STARBASE 718, SECTOR J-601 – A Dominion musical figurehead known as “D’Korr the Resonant” was convicted yesterday by a Federation tribunal on two counts of unauthorized interplanetary transport for the purpose of transactional companionship. The artist, who has long been at the center of subspace gossip circuits and legal whispers, was cleared of the more grave charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, both of which could have led to exile on Rura Penthe.

Prosecutors alleged that D’Korr and a cadre of loyal acolytes coerced female companions into Orion-coded “Freak Rotations” with compensated male companions across Federation space. However, the tribunal found insufficient evidence to define these activities as part of a structured enterprise — a requirement for convictions under the Federation’s anti-racketeering codes. The entertainment mogul’s defense claimed the encounters were “ritualistically consensual,” citing Dominion courtship traditions.

Testimony from two central witnesses — code-named “Ventura” and “Jane” — described emotionally and financially manipulative relationships with the Dominion performer, including contractual obligations tied to transport credits and career advancement. Surveillance holovid from the Interstellar Regency Tower on Rigel V, showing a violent altercation between D’Korr and Ventura, was admitted into evidence. Yet tribunal members stated the footage lacked temporal proximity to the charges in question.

Although D’Korr’s conviction may only result in a sentence of several cycles in a Federation rehabilitation colony, civil actions remain pending. Nearly 70 litigants across Denobulan, Andorian, and Orion systems have filed claims. The Federation prosecutor, citing post-raid misconduct by D’Korr while under investigation, urged continued detention. “This individual demonstrates a persistent disdain for Federation law and a volatile disposition toward sentient partners,” she said.
